Textured Aztec Print
Great for Womenswear, this Textured Aztec Print is the second print from the Textured Prints Collection. Ever since the Spanish came into contact with the Aztecs of Central Mexico, the Western world has been inspired by their art, textiles and body adornment. The higher up the class system you were, the more colourful your clothing became and the more adornment like jewellery and head pieces you wore. Their triangular and diamond motifs have been drawn on many times for textile and fashion design, as I have done for this Womenswear print.
